Air Supply, a singer group from Australia is my favorite duo. They sing ballad and slow rock songs; and most of their songs have very deep meanings about love and relationship.
I first listened to their songs from my father’s cassettes which was very long, long time ago. My Dad used to play his favorite oldies songs when we went out of town. One of the songs happened to be Air Supply’s song ‘Making Love Out of Nothing At All’ . I became very curious about this song and the singer, because the voice who sang the song was extremely great, at least that was what I had thought.
Soon, I learned about the singer, a duo ballad group consists of Graham Russel the guitarist and Russel Hitchcock the lead vocalist and their songs. What has made me become fond of this group is because they have songs with very beautiful lyrics. Most of the songs tell about love and relationship between a man and a woman, and they picture it in words very beautifully.
It’s as if they were not merely making a song when they wrote it, instead they were speaking frankly a man’s feeling of love and his lover. I guess that’s what makes Air Supply’s songs are tremendous and stay in the hearts of their fans. For example, one of their song ‘Every Woman In The World’ that tells about a man’s feeling of loneliness despite all the glitzy world.
I bet there are those who feel the same and long for their true loves. Other songs are equally beautiful and meaningful, and you can choose one of their songs to describe your feelings about love.
